American Parkinson Disease Association

Wisconsin Chapter APDA is affiliated with the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA), a nonprofit organization whose mission is to ease the burden and find the cure for Parkinson's disease. The ADPA and its chapters achieve this mission through support of research, development of educational materials, funding of information & referral centers, hosting of patient/family support groups, conducting community outreach seminars and symposium and fundraising efforts. These activities
are possible as a result of generous donations of money or time
from caring individuals.

Parkinson Action Network: Founded in 1991, PAN is the unified education and advocacy voice of the Parkinson’s community. Through education and interaction with the Parkinson’s community, scientists, lawmakers, opinion leaders, and the public, PAN leads the fight to ease the burden and find a cure. PAN increases awareness about Parkinson’s disease and seeks federal support for Parkinson’s research.

Parkinson Disease Foundation:  Founded in 1957, PDF has a presence in Parkinson's disease research, patient education and public advocacy.
