The role of the I & R coordinator is to:

  1. Collaborate in meeting APDA goals and philosophy
  2. Participate in community awareness and public relations activities
  3. Provide leadership training and resources for volunteers
  1. Provide educational materials to patients, families, and healthcare providers
  2. Develop a regional resource referral network
  3. Establish and maintain support groups
  4. Plan and implement regional conferences
  5. Assist in Chapter formation and serve in an advisory capacity
